Tiffany Rice, Owner and Operator

Hello! My name is Tiffany Rice and I am the owner and operator of Cupcake Artistry.

I began my adult life as an Art Teacher in 2010.  In the spring of 2015, I baked a few dozen cupcakes for a baby shower at school, which were met with rave reviews.  I subsequently baked several times a year for friends and coworkers, as requested, for their celebrations.  In May of 2020, I baked a couple of batches of cupcakes for a few nurse friends during the COVID-19 lockdown.  This led to an order for several hundred cupcakes, and Cupcake Artistry was born.

After a successful year of baking as a side gig, I knew I had found my passion.  I truly love baking for my customers and find so much joy in learning and perfecting this new craft.  I am able to use my creative gifts in a new form and spread joy while doing it.  In July, 2021, I made the difficult decision to leave teaching and pursue baking full time.  While I miss the classroom and my teacher friends, I couldn't be happier with this decision.  I'm so excited for this journey!

I live in La Crosse with my incredibly supportive husband, Nick, and our furry daughter, Bonnie.  Nick is a (sometimes not-so-willing) helper in the kitchen, and Bonnie (thankfully) wants nothing to do with the cupcakes and naps while I bake!
